Question: What was the underlying goal of this recent project?

The goal of this particular project was to create a beautiful outdoor entertaining space for the client. They had recently completed an outdoor addition including a beautiful pool house. We wanted to bring the inside out so to speak.

Question: What collection was used for this project and why?

The primary collection used for this project was the Hemingway by Lane
Venture. We all felt this look was in perfect harmony with the homes architecture as well as creating a beautiful comfortable space. This collection really brings the inside out so to speak.

Question: Did the client already have a strong idea of what she wanted for the space? How can Braden’s assist a client if he or she isn’t sure what he or she wants for his or her living space?

This particular client has been a long time customer of our store. She has impeccable taste so she already had a great vision for what she wanted to create. We were able to take her vision and make it a reality by showing her the products that fit that vision. In many cases clients doing projects like this have an idea of what they want but are not sure how to bring it to fruition. Our staff has a vast knowledge of what is available and can source from hundreds of lines to create a beautiful custom look. Having been in the outdoor business for as long as we have, we have sourced the absolute best in outdoor furniture. We firmly believe there is no other store in our area that can tackle these kinds of projects and achieve the look that our designers can.

Question: How would you best describe the final outcome of this particular project?

This was one of our all-time favorite projects. As I said before it’s always wonderful when the client has such amazing taste and vision paired with what we have to offer. I think this beautiful space will be enjoyed by our client for many years to come!

Question: What is currently happening in the outdoor furniture industry with regards to product availability and or production wait times?

Thankfully, we are experiencing a normalization of order times that have been absent for the last few years. This gives us a lot more comfort in placing custom orders and getting projects accomplished in the desired time frames. We also are a stocking dealer for most of our lines. We have tremendous stock and can provide immediate delivery on hundreds of outdoor products.

Question: Why is the outdoor space an important space to pay attention to when it comes to design?

Often, people are not aware of what can be done to an outdoor space until they consult with our designers. They are thrilled to experience how much enjoyment they can have out of previously underutilized patio spaces. We are constantly hearing back from them how much time they are spending on their screened in porches and patio areas now that they are properly and beautifully furnished. They really can become extra rooms in their homes! We certainly benefit from four beautiful seasons here in Knoxville. It is a shame to not utilize properly every area of your home!

Question: Do you have a particular favorite collection when it comes to outdoor furniture available through the Braden’s showroom?

There are so many beautiful collections it is hard to pick! A lot of it depends on fitting the product to the architecture and styling of the home. You can continue a look from inside to out. If I had to pick a favorite, it is hard to pass on the Montecito sofa grouping from Summer Classics. This is a casual synthetic wicker product that is perfect for a covered space cozied up to an outdoor fireplace! I enjoy lounging with the occasional nap during those comfortable warm evenings so I always gravitate to comfort!
