Braden’s Lifestyles is a full-service design, planning and supply vendor for all aspects of commercial and hospitality project needs. Our wide range of project types include commercial, education, medical, residential, retail, churches and lodging.

Braden’s Furniture was founded by McKinley and Mildred Braden on May 1, 1956, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Functioning until 1992 as a true wholesale furniture distributor, operating a designer showroom in downtown Knoxville and a traveling sales business in seven states selling smaller independent furniture stores.

Gary Braden, son of the founders, took the helm of the company in 1976, exploring growth opportunities that included purchasing Fowler Brothers Furniture Co.of Knoxville, opening Knoxville’s largest furniture store at 110,000 square feet and creating many successful divisions of the company in retail, wholes and manufacturing. Gary continues to serve as President with a heart of service to his team, customers and community.

Through successful additions and innovations, Braden’s Lifestyles grew into a leading furniture retailer as a full-service design, planning and supply vendor for all aspects of commercial and hospitality project needs. The wide range of project types include commercial, education, medical, residential, retail, churches, lodging and residential.

Nick Braden, son of Gary, joined the business full time in 2002. IN addition to serving as Vice President, Nick created services like Braden’s Home Staging to further advance the design and decor services offered by the company. His leadership continues to propel the company forward within the community.

In today’s hospitality and commercial industry, an important challenge is maintaining a balance between the fast-paced delivery process increasing costs and quality. Braden’s Lifestyles strives to provide focused and coordinated efforts to make all of our customer project goals a priority, including performance, value and design. We employ continual quality control and monitor the process to help maintain the quality of the execution while providing solutions to meet budget and schedule demands.

The Braden family has been serving Knoxville for over sixty years. This family owned and operated business proudly offers decades of experience that benefit residential, commercial and hospitality customers.
